The boy is in a comfortable position, resting his head on one hand on top of the pillow and holding a fan covering his legs with the other hand. His face has a calm expression and gentle smile. He probably is a small auspicious fairy who lives in the forest taking a leaf as his bed.

沉香木側臥童子筆架
此沉香木筆架雕刻了一個側臥橢圓形葉子上正在打盹的小童。童子將一手墊於枕頭之上，腦袋靠於手上，另一手執蒲扇，蓋於腿上。其面容沈靜，略帶笑意，有可能是一位以葉為榻，居天地之間的吉祥童子。
